Life-size projections Oldehove
The Oldehove church tower was too crooked and too unfinished to be a status symbol for Leeuwarden. The storied and oft described tower is a perfect and unexpected icon for the Lân van taal. It’s also the ideal setting for four video artworks, created by various unexpected combinations of language and other artists!

A different great video artwork can be seen projected on the Oldehove every three months. Each projection is created by a trio, including at least a language artist (such as a poet, rapper, writer or spoken word performer) and a filmmaker/video artist.

Duration of projections
Approximately 15 minutes.

Days & showtimes
Can be seen every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

The projection cannot be shown due to other festivities or holidays on the following dates: 26, 27 and 28 April / 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12 and 13 May / 20 and 21 July / 9, 10, 11 and 12 August / 6 September.
