A 4 km walk in a loop through Akkrum. A wonderful way to discover Friesland and the village of Akkrum. Walk with a description or app along all sorts of different framed canvases located throughout Akkrum. 

The images on the canvases are created by local artists in collaboration with local poets. Plaatselijk Belang Akkrum-Nes is collaborating with De Drijfveer port, where canvases also hang. The route description can be found in different shops, at the station and at the port. Along this art walking trail you’ll also enjoy the water, the boats, the beautiful old buildings, the landscape and the animals: basically the entire Frisian rural community.

  • De route begint bij het station in Akkrum of bij de haven. Daar ligt ook de routebeschrijving en een verklaring bij de doeken. wil je met een groep langs de doeken met uitleg is dat ook mogelijk.
