Camping "de Dobbe" in Holwerd is a quiet 2 star camping with 54 spacious sites, all supplied with electricity (4 amp). The camping offers group accommodation for up to 20 people in a large tent and hires cabins. The camping is a first class base of operations for those who want to visit the Wadden Islands. Ameland is only 3 km away and Schiermonnikoog 20 km. You may take the ferry but the real fit nature lover might want to make the crossing on foot. Waddling (walking across the sea) is a unique experience, but should never be undertaken without an experienced guide. For those who prefer to cycle, the North-East Friesland route, Rietland route the famous 11 cities route and Waddenroute all come trough Holwerd. Your pets are most welcome at our camping. To book: No booking are necessary for campers, caravan or tents. After arrival you may choose a site to your liking, just remember that the special campersites are for campers only.
