Unspoiled, historic farmhouse dating from 1740, amidst the country side of Friesland, Netherlands, inbetween Harlingen and Leeuwarden. Enjoy simple home cooked food and drinks on our summer terrace in the old orchard or, when the weather is not so pleasing, in the Old Stables 'home cafe Pluys'. There you will also find antiques, curiosities and from time to time arts & crafts exhibitions, in 'Lizzies Cabinet' De Wylde Swanne also hosts as an event location with robust character, facilitating private, small scale stays & residencies, as well as cultural/country events and parties. You can stay the night in our B&B or the snug caravan on the land.
