At the old mound Joarum is our beautiful House, on the outskirts of the village of Kubaard and along the route of the bicycle-elfstedentocht. A short distance away is the ancient Slachtedijk.
B&B Joarum is a good address for rest seekers and nature lovers, but you can also have an ac-tive holiday in this beautiful part of Friesland.
We are centrally located between the Waddensea and the Frisian Lakes, and centrally between the 11-Steden cities Leeuwarden, Sneek, Bolsward, Harlingen and Franeker. We live in the middle of the wide Frisian landscape with many rustic an-cient villages: a cycle route network of the ANWB and many possibilities for hiking and excursions. We make you the ropes in our beautiful province, and have a large selection of maps, pamphlets and tips.
In the House there are two bed and breakfast rooms on the first floor. Both of them have a private bathroom, box-spring beds, TV/dvd, Wi-Fi with high speed internet access, and the ability to also make in-room coffee or tea. There is also a communal kitchenette on this floor.
At your overnight stay an ample breakfast is included, including Frisian specialities. With eggs from our own chickens and organic products as for instance the freshly picked strawberries from the garden, local produce and homemade jams. On request we make lunches to take along.
