Restaurant Ambrosijn is located in the village center. A former home that has been completely transformed into an attractive restaurant where you can enjoy some delicious food and drinks. In their restaurant and on the terrace, drinks and delicacies are served from a small menu, such as various coffees, homemade cakes, soups, salads and a variety of other dishes. You are welcome for dinner from 18:00 onwards. In addition to the dishes on the menu, you can choose from a variety of menus, all with natural and regional products, prepared à la minute in the open kitchen.
The traditionally made ice cream from Ambrosijn has quickly become a famous on Schiermonnikoog. With no less than 25 flavors, there is 'something for everyone'. In addition to the classics such as vanilla, banana, pistachio, etc., Ambrosijn also offers sea buckthorn ice, island honey ice cream and cinnamon sugar ice cream.
