The museum is accommodated in Sloten?s former town hall, built between 1759-1761. It offers a fascinating look at the history of Sloten. In the attic of the museum you will find Laterna Magica, the most beautiful collection of magic lanterns in the Netherlands. The museum organises temporary exhibitions in the former Town Clerk's Office.
