Baest has successfully established themselves as one of Denmark's most promising metal acts in recent years. The band won two Gaffa awards (for best metal album and best newcomer) in 2019 and they were followed, among other things, for a documentary series by the Danish national TV channel DR on their European tour with Decapitated. The band has played festivals such as Summer Breeze, Ruhrpott Metal Meeting, Copenhell, Roskilde, and Eurosonic and supported bands such as Abbath, Hatebreed, Dying Fetus, Entombed A.D. and Decapitated.

“We've accomplished all of this just by playing, performing, writing, touring, working in the name of death metal, impressing audiences with our sound and putting on captivating, energetic shows. Now it's time for chapter two of this incredible journey that began in 2015. BAEST has become the number 1 death metal band in Denmark," the band proudly reveals. "We are currently about to enter new territory that no Danish death metal band has ever done before, even though with Undergang, Phrenelith and Slaegt there is no shortage of great bands here. Still, we have taken our music to the big radio stations and TV channels and we experience fans who support us, who have never attended metal shows before.”
