The guide of ‘Team Leeuwarden City Walks; walks you through the oldest part of our royal city. The guide points out beautiful facades, special places and tells you all about them. We walk through the most pleasant shopping street in the Netherlands, along the mural of Marijke Meu, her living and working palace, "climb" mounds and stand at the highest point of the city, walk through beautiful courtyard gardens and along special trees. Also see where Mata Hari lived and the birthplace of Maurice Escher etc., etc . Too many things to mention here!
A walk of over a kilometer with a duration of just under 1½ hours.
A combination with a pram tour through the canals is possible.
The city walk costs €35 per group (max. 20 people).
