From ego thinking to eco thinking at the Obe exhibition hall

People think primarily about people. They work hard and diligently to accomplish mind-boggling achievements. From complex organizational structures to unimaginable technologies and gigantic constructions – humanity is willing and able to do all of this. The downside? People don't give much thought to the Earth even though the Earth will be around a lot longer than a human life. How can we transform our ego thinking into eco thinking?

This is what the exhibition 'If trees could walk' in Obe is about. She draws attention to the need to look differently at the relationship between man and nature. On the shift, we desire from the ego perspective to the eco perspective. Thinking ahead is key. During the exhibition, Obe is also a stage and studio space for the artists who work in the Bosk lab. A place for encounters, where you can discuss everything that interests you.

If trees could walk by Obe is part of Bosk: a walking forest of more than a thousand trees that travels through the city centre of Leeuwarden for a hundred days with the appeal to look at nature differently.
