The happiest people in the Netherlands can be found in Friesland. The province of water, landscape and culture. In 2021, Friesland will be focusing on its beautiful nature with the theme year Ode to the Landscape. In addition, the year 2020 has a lot to offer. Did you miss the webinar on 24th June? The webinar covered the most important experiences of 2020 and 2021, but also the cultural events planned for the theme year "Ode to the Landscape".

Among other things the following was discussed:

The great and convincing 'Opera spectacle on the wad'. Behind the dike in Moddergat in Friesland, the gripping story of the fisherman Peter Grimes will be performed in 2021. More than 180 performers play in the Wadopera and take the audience back to England in the early 19th century.
During the Oranjewoud Festival, the most beautiful classical concerts are presented in a refreshing way by top musicians from home and abroad.
