Walking shoes on, backpack at the ready – it’s time to explore! At AquaZoo Leeuwarden, you’ll set off on an adventure and discover all kinds of fascinating animals. Walk along the beach with the penguins, wander right through the ring-tailed lemurs’ habitat and come face to face with the tigers!
Every day, there are several educational presentations where the keepers share fascinating facts about the animals. You’ll learn plenty of surprising things along the way, and of course, there’s also time to ask your own questions.
Throughout the park, you’ll find playgrounds and adventure trails. Cross the marsh on a raft, jump from stone to stone across the water or balance your way across a wooden pole bridge. The playground has a giant air trampoline, a nest swing and plenty of other fun play equipment. Each playground is located next to a café or restaurant with a terrace, so parents, grandparents and other accompanying adults can sit back and relax.
