Yes, this really was the Wadden Sea that you are walking across here, just as the Lauwersmeer was once part of the Wadden Sea too. By climbing, scrambling and playing, you discover all kinds of things about the Wadden area, from the seabed to the starry sky. And do bring binoculars, the view is fantastic.
You can park at Natuurlijk Kollumeroord. From there, cross the site and the little bridge to reach the WasWadpad. Parts of the route can be muddy, so sturdy footwear is recommended.
