NorthWest Kiteboarding is located in the Northwest of the Netherlands and Europe. The wind direction NW is our favorite on our home spots Makkum and Kornwerderzand on the Frisian IJsselmeer coast. Due to the shallow water, these are one of the best and quietest kite (lesson) locations in the Netherlands, if not in Europe. These locations are very suitable for all levels and disciplines.
We are a kitesurfing school certified by the VDWS-international and Watersportverbond and have almost 20 years of experience in the field of kitesurfing and the associated learning concepts. Our highly qualified kitesurf instructors will guide you throughout the season during your lessons. Personal coaching is our top priority and that is why we only work with very small groups with a maximum of 2 students per kite or wing. In addition, quality and safety are the most important factors.
