When sailing through the Jeltesloot near Hommerts, you will eventually cross the N354, using the aqueduct through the Jeltesloot.

Over the past twenty years, as part of the Frisian Lakes project, five beautiful aqueducts have been constructed. This ensures that cars and boats don't interfere with each other's traffic, allowing all types of traffic to flow freely. It creates a stunning and characteristic scene: boats and sails seeming to glide over the land.

Until 2006, there was the Jelteslootbrug here, but it was demolished shortly after the aqueduct was opened. The aqueduct is open 24/7 for both motorists and cyclists, as well as boats.
