In this charming farmhouse, you can enjoy the tasteful interior, spacious kitchen-diner and cosy living room, perfect for cooking, playing games and relaxing together. During the day, enjoy the natural surroundings and play games in the large garden. In the evening, the barbecue and fire pit on the edge of the forest are perfect for spending quality time outdoors. The wood-fired Finnish hot tub under the open sky is a particular highlight from October to March. With views of the dike, a warm soak becomes a truly special experience. The raised seating area also makes it safe and comfortable for younger children to enjoy. On request, you can even book a special evening of stargazing.
What makes Wierum so special is its location right on the Wadden Sea. When the tide is in, you can go for a swim. The village also has a cosy café-restaurant. Explore the surrounding area with a guided mudflat walk or discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Wadden Sea on a boat trip. The Frisian Islands and picturesque towns such as Dokkum, with its historic canals and charming narrow streets, are also perfect for exciting day trips.
Please note: This attractive farmhouse offers peace, space and a chance to enjoy nature, making it ideal for families, large families, those seeking relaxation, retreat groups and nature lovers. It is therefore not suitable for groups whose social gatherings could cause noise disturbances, such as groups of friends or youth groups. We want all our guests to feel comfortable here, so we ask everyone to respect the peaceful surroundings and keep noise to a minimum at all times, both during the day and after 10:30 pm.
