The Wilhelminapark in Sneek was laid out in 1898 in the English landscape style. It still looks almost entirely as landscape architect Gerrit Lambertus Vlaskamp intended in his original design. As a result, the park was designated as a national monument in 1999.

In addition to cultural-historical elements and particular trees, you will find an aviary with peacocks, chickens, special ducks, crowned cranes, and also hamsters, parakeets, and rabbits. Children can indulge in the playground, which is centrally located in the park.
