The ancient Lycklamabos is located in Gaasterland. This forest was originally an oak coppice plantation where oaks and birches were grubbed up. Later, conifers were also planted. With the surrounding forests and the rolling meadows and fields, this varied landscape lends itself perfectly for a cycling or walking tour.
