When sailing between Grou and Terherne, you will encounter the Grou railway bridge. This movable railway bridge crosses the Prinses Margriet Canal and is located on the Zwolle–Leeuwarden railway line.

The bridge has two navigable openings. For larger ships and boats with a high mast, operation can be requested. The operating times for this and other bridges can be found on the website of the Province of Fryslân. Please note: different times apply on Sundays and public holidays.
