In front of the pavilion there is a spacious sunbathing lawn, providing many opportunities for outdoor activities as well as a place to relax and enjoy the sun. Adjacent to this is a small beach for children with a shallow paddling pool where they can play safely.
The pavilion is more than just a place to enjoy food and lunch. There is an escape room located in the basement, and the venue is also suitable for meetings and weddings.
Lake De Leijen is accessible for recreational activities such as canoeing, sailing with small boats, electric boats, surfing and more.
De Leijen is a nature area located at the entrance to the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden nature reserve, an ecological main structure in the north of the Netherlands, managed by Staatsbosbeheer. The possibilities are endless, from enjoying good food to having a relaxing drink.
Suitable for parties from 10 up to 100 people, meetings or symposia, weddings or baby showers, with colleagues or family.
