The B&B is located in the quiet and characteristic Oranjewijk, southeast of the beautiful centre and historic centre of Leeuwarden with its many museums, galleries, nice shops, eateries and striking cityscapes.
You have access to a double room with 2 single box-spring beds, private bathroom with shower and bath and separate toilet. Secure wireless internet and cable television are available. You can make complimentary coffee and tea in the room. For relaxation, there are various magazines and books as well as some board games. Additionally, you may utilise the terrace in the back garden.
A Frisian breakfast is served in your room in the morning.
The costs for a stay in Het Gele Huis are € 85.00 per night for 2 persons including breakfast and use of two citybikes. and for 1 person € 52.50 including breakfast and use of a bicycle. I am also obliged to charge tourist tax (€ 1.65 per person/per night). These costs must be paid in cash upon arrival.
You can check in between 5 pm and 8 pm or by appointment. Check out is until 10:00 am. Cash payment upon arrival and partial pre-payment for longer stays.
Smoking is not allowed indoors at the B&B, but is allowed on the terrace behind the house.
Pets are not allowed. Here at B&B Het Gele Huis we have 2 cats, Diesel and Dolly.
