The Harlinger Watersports Association has been active since 1932. The association has a well-equipped marina near the city centre. Passers-by are also welcome here. Besides maintaining the marina, the association organises the Harlingen-Terschelling Sailing Race, lectures and youth sailing lessons.
The marina
The harbour of the Harlinger Watersportvereniging (HWSV) always has room for passers-by. The harbour offers a sheltered spot with all facilities. Despite the large crowds in Harlingen on some days, you will find the peace, comfort and cosiness you are looking for in this marina. The marina is directly accessible via the Van Harinxmakanaal. Out of the lock immediately starboard and from the direction of Franeker before the lock portside.

You can become a member of the HWSV by filling in a form on the website. By becoming a member, you support the association, you can participate in the activities and you will have a discount on your annual mooring fee for 10 nights. For placement on the waiting list for a permanent berth in the marina, membership is a prerequisite.
