The small island 'Brouwers Achte' is located in the Terkaplester Puollen, near the village of Terherne. This island is only accessible by boat. The recreation organization Marrekrite has installed a 73-meter-long jetty here, where you can moor your boat.
At this jetty, numbered SN09A, visitors are allowed to moor for free for up to 3 days. Imagine: staying for free in the middle of nature!
To support the work of Marrekrite, you are kindly asked to purchase a pennant in advance. It costs €15 and can be ordered via the webshop at www.Marrekrite.nl or arranged through your boat rental company.
On the island, you can take a short walk, but other than that, there’s thankfully not much else to do :)
During the high season, you’ll have to share the jetty with many other water sports enthusiasts. However, in autumn, winter, and early spring, it’s a true haven of peace and tranquility.
