We are not just around the corner and that is precisely our advantage. Our restaurant is located outside of the city and on the water in the middle of the 'Grutte Wielen' nature reserve. We go big ('grut') in food, in drinks and in attention. We are there for the culinary duo with drinks and snacks, for the relaxing coffee moment with cake and for the large groups with noise. And not to forget forget: the families with children. Together they make Groote Wielen.

Really taking the time for each other and for yourself, that is the great enjoyment for us. So dive into an intimate corner, or let's welcome all your friends together. When you join us, take a moment to look around you. Nature here is breathtakingly beautiful in every season. During a sultry summer evening, you can sit on the terrace with a beautiful view and in winter you can sit next to the crackling fire.
