The former public primary school in Hurdegaryp tells the story of generations of village children. Over the years, the school was rebuilt, expanded and eventually succeeded by newer school buildings, until education in the village moved to child centre It Boulân. After that, the old school building continued to serve different purposes and remained a familiar place in Hurdegaryp.
