Wide views over the beautiful and expansive Frisian countryside
Terplogementen Jannum
In the north of Fryslân, between Leeuwarden and Dokkum and not far from Bartlehiem, lies one of the smallest villages in the municipality of Noardeast Fryslân: Jannum, famous for its Romanesque church dating from 1150. The surroundings of Jannum are very peaceful and rural. Noordoost Friesland is known for its many terp villages, the salt marsh area and the adjacent Wadden Sea.
On the terp in Jannum are two monumental 17th-century terp houses, each containing two separate accommodations: it Búthûs, de Skuorre, de Golle and de Telle. Each accommodation is suitable for 2 adults. In three of the accommodations, small children can sleep in a box bed. The accommodations are simply but tastefully furnished, equipped with all modern conveniences and particularly appealing to those who appreciate historic architectural styles.
All accommodations have a ground floor and an upper floor and can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two young children. Facilities include a radio, television, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and cooking facilities (electric – two burners). Each accommodation has free WiFi, and terrace seating is also available.
There are uninterrupted views of the beautiful and expansive Frisian landscape all around.
