Over the years, the windmill has been owned by many different individuals and organizations. In 2019, the ownership of the mill transferred from the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân to the Mill Foundation Súdwest-Fryslân, making them responsible for the maintenance of the mill.
In 2021, the mill celebrated its 200th anniversary. It is still possible to visit the mill; for current operating days, please check the website.
