At a Tourist Transfer Point (TOP), you can park your car or travel there by public transport, and from there enjoy cycling or walking in beautiful surroundings.
These starting points for discovering Fryslân are always located near the cycling and/or walking junction network, and there is usually also a café or restaurant with toilet facilities nearby.
At the TOP, there is an information pillar with a large map of the surrounding area. It also shows routes and places of interest in the area. At Firdgum/Koehool, in addition to the information pillar, you will find a water refill point, a bicycle parking facility where you can charge your e-bike, and the Yeb Hettinga Museum.
Accessibility by car:
The TOP location is easily accessible by car; follow the brown signs. You can park for free at the TOP.
Public transport:
Are you coming to Firdgum by bus? Good choice! The bus stop is located on the N393, from there it is another 1 kilometre walk to the TOP. Plan your journey here with 9292.
