Stania State is a country house and estate nestled in the woodland between Oentsjerk and Aldtsjerk in Friesland. This unique property is within cycling distance of Leeuwarden and Dokkum (about 10 km).Â

The park is a popular place for a picnic, high tea or drinks on the terrace. Stania State is an official wedding venue in the Frisian municipality of Tytsjerksteradiel and has its own bridal suite.

The estate’s rich history is evident in the various rooms that can accommodate parties of 25 to 200 guests. There are lovely walks in the park and scenic cycling routes in the surrounding area.Â
It is possible to book bed and breakfast in a room with a box bed that is also used as a bridal suite.Â
