Themed daytours from the of  city Groningen to the WaddenseaÂ
From May to October, the WaddenExpress, an authentic Volkswagen bus from '69, runs various themed tours from the city of Groningen to the Wad. Enthusiasts can explore and experience Wadden Sea Worldhertitage as they wish.
- Walk on the dry Wadden Sea bottom
Go mudflat walking and wander the dryfallen sandbanks Engelsmanplaat, Weststrand or Brakzandplaat. Crossing to the island of Schiermonnikoog is also possible. A perfect daytour to explore coast, sea and island in one time.
- Photogenic Wad
Learn to photograph on the Wad with our photography workshops on the Waddendijk at Noordpolderzijl or Moddergat. At low tide and the setting sun, the Wadden Sea is at its best and therefore very photogenic. A perfect moment for making the most beautiful pictures.
- Yoga on the Wad
Nice to empty your head in the middle of the dry Wad, the most magical place in the Netherlands. This 6-hour tour feels like a true mini-sabatical!
- Wadden Clean Up
A clean and healthy living environment starts with you. Get on board the 'De Raaf' fisherman's chimney and start collecting waste on the Wad. A very topical theme that concerns us all. The disaster with the container ship in January 2019 proves once again how vulnerable our Wadden Sea World Heritage is.

Prefer to spend longer in the Wad? Then board the authentic Willem Jacob clipper. While sailing you visit several Wadden islands. If the tide is favorable, the ship will dry on a sandbar and you will sleep in the middle of the Wad!

The ingredients for a successful team are trust, honesty and openness, in short a team that knows each other through and through. During this day (or two days) you get to know each other in an unconventional way in the middle of the Wad.
