For more than seven centuries, people have met in this impressive monument. Upon entering, surprising elements are the beautiful combination of the modern interior with the age-old elements, such as the graves for Frisian Nassau's in the choir, the 17th-century pulpit and the famous Müller organ from 1724-1727.

The Grote or Jacobijnerkerk is used for various activities such as conferences, concerts, symposia, meetings, lectures and parties.
