B&B de Garaazje is located along the ‘Elfsteden’ sailing route, specifically The Dolte. Workum’s center is only 250 meters away and full of lovely restaurants to dine in. In 2018, we transformed the old garage into a cozy B&B. The room is fitted with wooden beams and a partially glass roof. There’s room for you to stall and charge your bikes near the entrance. De Garaazje has its own patio facing the south. Here, you can enjoy a breakfast in the warm morning sun. This is the ideal location to start exploring the area. Workum is a tourist city with a wide variety of activities in the area. There’s opportunities for biking, hiking, watersports or to visit some museums. The Ijsselmeer and other lakes are within biking distance. Hiking from Workum to Hindeloopen over the dikes is definitely worth your while.
