In Joure, coffee is part of life. Since 1753, when Douwe Egberts was founded here, the town has been known as the coffee village. That tradition continues at Stoker Koffiebar on Midstraat. Here you can enjoy specialty coffee, hot and refreshing drinks and a lunch with freshly baked cakes, sandwiches and small bites. Everything is made with care, and you can taste it.
For Jelle and Joukje, Stoker is more than a coffee bar. It is their way of sharing flavour and craftsmanship. With Stoker, Jelle also brings his family name back to the street: his grandparents, parents and other relatives once ran their shops here. Now the Stoker name is back on Midstraat, this time with coffee instead of vegetables or meat.
