Skrins is a meadow bird reserve near the village of Hinnaard. During the winter, many Eurasian wigeons stay here, and peregrine falcons are observed hunting in this area. In spring, you have a good chance of spotting black-tailed godwits, oystercatchers, mute swans, and spoonbills.

This area is situated between Hennaard, Easterlittens, Britswerd, and Itens. The bird observation hut is located on the road from Easterlittens to Hennaard.
