It’s finally that time again: the Avondvierdaagse (Evening Four-Day Walk) in Leeuwarden is kicking off! From June 1 to 4, 2026, children and families of all ages will take part in four days of movement and fun during this lively walking adventure.

Routes and distances
As a participant in the Evening Four-Day Walk, you can choose between two distances: 5 km and 10 km. Both routes start from the Kooi Stadium at Stadionplein in Leeuwarden at the following times:
10 km: 6:00 pm
5 km: 6:30 pm

The board of the Foundation Evening Four-Day Walk is looking forward to the start of a new walking season—and this will be the 80th edition! In short, the Evening Four-Day Walk in Leeuwarden promises to be another great success this year—and trust us, you won’t want to miss it!

The cost for pre-registration is:
€8.00 for 4 evenings
€5.50 for 1 evening
