Start: Our tours start at the Oldehoofsterkerkhof, the large square by the Oldehove (the leaning tower). Our guides will be waiting at the entrance to the Leeuwarden Visitor Centre at Paviljoen Obe. This is opposite the Ut Streekie shop and the Hofdame. The walk lasts 1.5 hours.
Price: This is a ‘Free Tour’. At the end of the tour, you decide what you think the tour is worth and how much you pay!
Language: This city walk is in Dutch. Every Saturday at 12:00 pm, a second guide is also available to lead an English-speaking group. And from April, there will be an extra guide on Saturdays at 2:00 pm for a German-speaking tour.
Register via the website of A Guide to Leeuwarden. As we currently operate with smaller groups, tours tend to fill up quickly. We therefore recommend booking in advance. This also allows us to arrange an additional guide if needed, so no one has to miss out. Click here to register.
