Start: Our tours start next to the entrance of the Leeuwarden Visitor Center, Heer Ivostraatje 1. This is at the foot of the Oldehoofsterkerkhof, the square where you’ll find Leeuwarden’s leaning tower, the Oldehove.
The walk lasts 1.5 hours.
Price: This is a ‘Free Tour’. At the end of the tour, you decide how much you think it was worth and how much you’d like to pay!
Language: This walking tour is in Dutch. Every Saturday at 12:00pm, a second guide is available so that an English-language group can also be formed. From April onwards, there is also an additional guide on Saturdays at 2:00pm for a German-language tour.
Sign up via the A Guide to Leeuwarden website. As we currently run tours with smaller groups, they fill up more quickly, so we recommend signing up in advance. This also allows us to arrange an additional guide if necessary and means no one has to miss out. Click here to sign up.
