Known for his intimate tenor voice, distinctive guitar style and melancholic melodies, Los Angeles–based solo artist and producer Shane Alexander has built a distinctive career with his evocative indie folk and immersive acoustic rock.

Since 2005, he has toured extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Canada, both as a headliner and as support for acclaimed artists such as Bon Iver, Lucinda Williams, Seal, Jewel, John Hiatt, Suzanne Vega, Styx and Yes. The independent Los Angeles–based artist has built a loyal international fanbase and performed on many legendary stages, including Red Rocks, The Ryman Auditorium and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Shane is a masterful storyteller who effortlessly weaves humour, nostalgia and wisdom into his shows, making every venue feel intimate and deeply connected. He has been performing in the Netherlands since his 2005 debut and often refers to the Low Countries as his home away from home.
His original music has appeared in nearly 100 television shows, commercials and films, quietly accumulating more than 30 million streams worldwide.
The song “Everything as One” from Alexander’s 2019 album A Life Like Ours was recently featured in a national commercial for Chevrolet’s “Drive Safe” campaign.
In addition to his own releases, Shane frequently collaborates as a songwriter and producer with artists on both sides of the Atlantic, working out of Buddhaland, his recording studio in Westlake Village, California.
