Sounds that fade like mist, melodies that slowly unfold, and beats that whisper rather than drive — the music of Andert Tysma is a world of its own. The Dutch composer and producer lives and works between Berlin and Amsterdam. In his work, jazz influences merge with contemporary production techniques and electronic details to form dreamy, layered soundscapes.
Tysma’s music is introspective and spacious. At times as expansive as a Dutch polder landscape, at other times as intimate as a room on a rainy day. He plays with contrasts between acoustic and digital, between clarity and distortion. Tonight, he invites you into his universe of sound and atmosphere. A moment to be still, to listen, and to drift away.
