Three unique voices, one stage.
Take a look
The music programme is presented in collaboration with Neushoorn and Friesland Pop.
Let yourself be carried away by three unique musical voices, each with their own background, language, and story. From the Frisian countryside to Turkish roots and personal poetry – this evening shows how music connects people, worlds, and emotions.
8:30 PM – 9:00 pm | Hannah Hoogsteen
Singer-songwriter Hannah Hoogsteen sings in Frisian—not out of nostalgia, but out of love for her mother tongue. Her music honors her roots and brings the Frisian language to the stage. She sings about love as it truly is: with shine and shadow, highs and lows. Inspired by her own experiences and her fondness for romantic films, she writes relatable songs about connection, vulnerability, and growth. Her style floats between jazz-pop and classic singer-songwriter. She has previously reached the finals of the Kleine Prijs van Friesland and performed on the stage of Noarderwyn Live.
9:30 PM – 10:00 pm | Yusuf Kemal Öztürk
With deep Turkish roots and a home base in the Netherlands, multi-instrumentalist Yusuf Kemal Öztürk creates cinematic, layered soundscapes. He blends post-rock, ambient, and prog-rock into music that sounds like the soundtrack to life itself. Think Radiohead, Aphex Twin, and Porcupine Tree, infused with personal and emotional depth. His compositions cross borders and speak a universal language of loss, hope, and finding home. What began with classical piano lessons at thirteen has evolved into a musical universe where Yusuf shares his story—about fleeing, grounding, and connecting.
10:30 PM – 11:00 pm | Tays
In an intimate setting, Tays invites you into his world of introspection and poetry. With jazzy piano accompaniment, he tells a story of inner conflict, blooming, and impermanence. The symbolism of flowers runs like a thread through his performance: raw, visual, and intense. His words strike a chord, and his melodies gently carry you along. Here, vulnerability is not a weakness but a strength—something that moves you and stays with you.
