As summer fades and tranquility returns, what better way to embrace the new season than with an afternoon of pure live music. With his unique tenor voice and beautiful piano playing, Roon Staal has been captivating audiences for over 25 years. His concerts are not grand spectacles, but rather serene oases—filled with heartfelt songs, personal stories, and an intimate atmosphere that allows you to truly unwind.
From international stages to intimate chapels
Roon Staal's musical journey began early and took him far beyond the Dutch borders. At a young age, he was discovered in Hollywood, signed a record deal, and worked with renowned producers on his first recordings. Shortly after, he met music legend Art Garfunkel, who was so impressed by Roon’s voice and presence that he invited him as a support act on his European tour.
Back home, Roon built an impressive resume with leading roles in musicals such as Les Misérables, Tommy, Rembrandt, and Petticoat—earning a nomination for a Musical Award. These days, he consciously chooses the intimacy of small venues and churches, where his music resonates best: pure, personal, and close to his audience.
Music that touches the soul
During this concert, Roon Staal performs a mix of his own songs—like Nog Elke Dag, Promise, and The Garden of Light—as well as timeless classics by Simon & Garfunkel, Rob de Nijs, ABBA, and The Beatles, all in his signature, understated style. Those who attend are treated to an afternoon of beauty, serenity, and top-level musicianship.
Don’t miss this unique musical afternoon!
