This summer, every Wednesday is a fun day for children up to and including 12 years old at the Woudagemaal. There will be activities full of water fun. Join in with games, discover how to make a water tornado in a bottle, try out experiments and take part in a special children’s guided tour.
When: every Wednesday from 8 July to 26 August
Time: 10.30 to 17.00, with the last guided tour starting at 16.00
Children’s guided tours
A guided tour boring and sleepy? Not at all. Join an adventure during a children’s guided tour through the Woudagemaal. During these tours, our volunteers explain in a clear and engaging way how steam works.
A fun and educational day out for the whole family
And parents, grandparents, family or friends? They can explore the visitor centre and join a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Woudagemaal. Or they can enjoy the view over the IJsselmeer and the bay of Lemmer from the panorama room. Of course, they are also welcome to join in the summer fun.
