Brought together by music, but shaped by friendship. Naomi & The Travellers is a band influenced by Country and pop-rock. Traveling for their inspiration and writing songs about the events they experience in life, makes for a captivating concert.
The members of Captain Darlin’ are fans of raw, swampy soul! They play songs by heroes such as Otis Redding, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gay, The Meters & Johnny Guitar Watson in their own unique way. In 2016, the men went into the studio and made a beautiful vinyl record full of their own songs in the tradition of their musical heroes. Raw, unpolished, with a love for what music is all about: strong songs! Frontman Jan Tekstra is a song/script writer, singer, guitarist and actor. He has written songs for countless artists at home and abroad, but he can’t miss making songs and performing with his own band, so if possible… And that is possible on Sunday 8 June!
