Did you know that Twitch has a thriving music community? Every week, musicians perform live from their home studios for an engaged international fanbase. This summer, Streamborn is bringing that world to Leeuwarden with a free, non-profit community festival at the Neushoorn café.
Over the course of the weekend, you’ll discover five featured acts who perform live on Twitch every week and are now taking to a physical stage. You probably won’t know them yet, but they’re well worth discovering. Expect plenty of original music, ranging from indie pop and folk to soul and R&B, with performances throughout the evening and the following day. The musicians are travelling to Leeuwarden especially for Streamborn from the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany.
Are you a musician yourself and would you like to perform for an international audience as well as hundreds of viewers watching live around the world? On Saturday, the stage is yours, complete with guitars, keyboard and drum kit.
