A beautiful and unique open air festival in the picturesque Jorwert, started in 1979. Known as a festival for young and old with live bands and 3 stages. Every year the festival offers a nice combination of upcoming regional bands and well-known names. In the 80s Mukpop grew into one of the largest music festivals in Northwest Friesland, with performances by Belgian singer Raymond van het Groenewoud, English band Dr. Feelgood and The Brandos from the US.
