For decades, there has been a large Turkish community in the Netherlands and in our city. We live side by side—but how well do we really know each other? Around a shared table, we explore the richness of Turkish culture together, celebrating it through stories, music, and delicious food

On this evening, hosts Nurten and Zeynep will take you into their world. Together with chefs Sultan, Hatice, Ayşe, Fatma, and Meral, they will prepare some of their favourite Turkish dishes while sharing stories about the culture they hold dear. Alongside this, you’ll be introduced to the art of henna, enjoy live music filling the space, and take part in a hands-on workshop—so you’ll go home with your own Turkish souvenir as a reminder of the evening.
Around a shared table, we’ll discover the richness of Turkish culture together. Come for the food, stay for the stories, and connect with new people.
