On Saturday 1 August 2026, Hindeloopen will be all about the Hindeloopen Annual Market and the start of the IFKS skûtsjesilen. From 10:00 to 17:00, the historic town will attract visitors from across the region for a day of atmosphere, trade and Frisian traditions.
The annual market takes place in and around the centre, with a varied selection of stalls. Visitors can take their time walking around the market, look for nice products and enjoy the lively streets of Hindeloopen. At the same time, the start of the IFKS skûtsjesilen is a special attraction. On and around the water, the traditional skûtsjes come into action and the maritime atmosphere can be felt everywhere.
