The Open Stage at Bouwurk offers a unique opportunity for local artists to showcase their talents in an accessible and welcoming environment. Over the course of 10 Friday evenings, regional artists are invited to present their work on stage across a range of artistic disciplines, including theatre, dance, comedy, poetry, and singer-songwriter performances. The event provides not only a platform for artists to share their work, but also a chance for audiences to discover new talent and enjoy a rich variety of live performing arts.
Target Audience
Amateurs and local artists from the region, aged 16 and up, who would like to present their talents. It’s an opportunity for both emerging and more experienced performers to introduce themselves to a wider audience.
Evening Schedule
- Walk-in: 7:30–8:00 pm
- Performances: 8:00–10:00 pm
