Have you always wanted to climb Leeuwarden’s famous leaning tower? Now’s your chance! The Oldehove is open every afternoon. Watch the fun animation on the first floor about the history of the tower. Then climb the narrow stairs and enjoy the spectacular views. And for children: try the free puzzle trail and discover all sorts of interesting facts along the way.

During the autumn break in the northern region, children can even visit for free as part of October Children’s Month.

Opening hours: Monday to Sunday, 1:00pm–5:00pm; until Saturday 24 October
Admission: adults €3.50; ages 13–17 €2.50; ages 12 and under €1.50
Free admission: children aged 12 and under during the autumn break in the northern region
