Have you always wanted to come face to face with tigers, crocodiles and penguins? Then a day at AquaZoo Leeuwarden is the perfect autumn getaway for you! And this season, the park has even more surprises in store — with over twenty life-sized dinosaurs roaming the grounds. Do you dare to meet them?
Go on an adventure through AquaZoo Leeuwarden, the ideal destination for a day out in Friesland. As the trees in the park turn from green to shades of orange and russet, the atmosphere couldn’t be more inviting.
What makes this autumn extra exciting is the arrival of some very special guests: from 11 September, you’ll find more than twenty realistic, full-sized dinosaurs scattered throughout the park! At the entrance, every visitor receives a free bingo card to tick off all the dinosaurs and other fun locations in AquaZoo. Play along with friends or family and see who can fill their card first.
Follow the adventure trails through the zoo with your children, or relax on the terrace in the autumn sunshine while they play in one of the playgrounds. Even on rainy days, AquaZoo is a great choice — the indoor areas are home to plenty of fascinating animals too.
To make your visit even more special, don’t miss the educational presentations held throughout the day. At various times, zookeepers share stories and fun facts about animals such as the polar bears, Amur tigers and raccoons — and they’ll be happy to answer your questions. You’re guaranteed to go home with new knowledge (and probably a few great photos).
