The music programme has been organised in collaboration with Neushoorn and Friesland Pop.
They travelled through Europe for five months — two guitars, one dream. MISTER & MRS, the Pop/Americana duo from Fryslân, live and write from the road. What began as a musical road trip has grown into a collection of personal, relatable songs that have since reached national radio and touched hundreds of hearts.
With influences like Johnnyswim and Wild Rivers, their songs feel like a road movie in musical form. Catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics about love, doubt, searching, and finding. Each season brought its own single: from Million Reasons to Stop Walking In The Rain — every track hits the right note.
On stage, Freerk & Tryntsje offer more than just music — they share their story. About being on the road and coming home. About building something together. About vulnerability and strength. A musical encounter full of warmth, sincerity, and quiet greatness.
